We are seeking a skilled Middle to Senior Manual QA engineer to join our team, with a strong focus on maintaining rigorous quality standards throughout the entire project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will ensure alignment with client processes, contributing actively to delivering software solutions that meet user needs and exceed stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Comprehensive Requirements Analysis: Collaborate closely with PMs, developers, and client stakeholders to thoroughly understand, define, and refine project requirements, ensuring alignment and clarity across teams.
  • Test Strategy and Documentation: Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and checklists tailored to specific client processes, project requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Agile Process Involvement: Actively participate in all agile activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinements, and retrospectives, supporting continuous improvement and efficient issue resolution.
  • Detailed Functional and Usability Testing: Conduct extensive manual testing focusing on user flows, usability, and functionality, addressing potential issues early and enhancing product quality based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Regression and Compatibility Testing: Execute thorough regression tests following feature updates and ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility to maintain product stability and reliability.
  • Performance and Optimization Checks: Routinely assess website performance, responsiveness, and SEO best practices, providing actionable insights to the development team to address performance gaps.
  • Effective Issue Tracking and Reporting: Utilize tools for meticulous documentation, prioritization, tracking, and timely resolution of identified defects, maintaining clear and transparent communication.
  • UAT Support and Stakeholder Coordination: Provide dedicated assistance during User Acceptance Testing, facilitating smooth stakeholder interactions, effective issue resolution, and clear documentation of client feedback.
  • Post-Deployment Quality Assurance: Proactively monitor production environments, promptly addressing and resolving emerging issues alongside the development team, and ensuring consistent quality post-launch.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manual Quality Assurance.
  • Proven experience in crafting and executing comprehensive test documentation aligned with client and industry standards.
  • Demonstrable expertise with agile methodologies and effective agile team integration.
  • Proficiency in clickup or equivalent issue tracking tools
  • Deep understanding of manual testing techniques, including usability, compatibility, and performance testing.
  • Needs to have minimum of a B2 level of English proficiency (Can give a clear, prepared presentation giving reasons in support of or against  a particular point of view).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively guide clients through the UAT phase, ensuring clarity and efficiency.
Preferred Experience:
  • Prior experience in e-commerce project testing.
  • Familiarity with basic automation testing practices.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as GDPR and WCAG.
