01 — What an internship here is

Real squad, real system, real reviews.

I.1

Embedded, not parked

You sit inside one of our client squads with a named mentor. Your code ships to production and goes through the same review gates as everyone else's.

I.2

The AI workflow, day one

You learn to build with agentic tooling under senior architecture — spec compression, assisted implementation, eval-gated merges. Skills most graduates won't have for years.

I.3

A path, if it works

Paid, 3–6 months, based in our Kathmandu studio. Interns who clear our bar are considered for an offer.

02 — Who we're looking for
S.1
You build things
A repo, a shipped side project, a thesis prototype — anything real we can run or read. Polish matters less than the decisions you made.
S.2
You can explain why
Trade-offs, dead ends, what you'd do differently. Judgement is the thing we can't teach fast — show us yours early.
S.3
You're curious about AI-assisted work
You don't need agent experience — you need the appetite to work in a loop where tooling does the mechanical and you own the judgement.
03 — Kathmandu · Nepal

AI, ML, QA and software engineering internships in Kathmandu.

T.1

AI, ML & research

Work inside our applied-AI practice: retrieval systems, evaluation harnesses and model ops on real client systems — research-grade problems that ship to production.

T.2

Software engineering

Product engineering across web and mobile — TypeScript, Kotlin, Swift — inside a senior squad with a named mentor.

T.3

QA & test automation

Quality engineering on production systems: test pyramids, automation, and the eval-gated review discipline our teams run.

T.4

Data & platform

Pipelines, observability and cloud infrastructure — the substrate our data and AI work runs on.

04 — Common questions

Internships at Hazesoft, answered.

Does Hazesoft offer internships in Nepal?

Yes. Our Kathmandu studio is Hazesoft's engineering home and takes interns across AI/ML and research, software engineering, QA and data.

Are Hazesoft internships paid?

Yes. Internships are paid, run 3–6 months, and place you inside a client squad with a named mentor — your code ships to production.

What does an AI or research internship involve?

Real applied-AI work: retrieval, evaluation harnesses and model ops under senior architecture. Production systems, not toy notebooks.

When can I apply?

Any time. Scheduled intakes are posted on this page when they open, and spontaneous applications are open year-round.

How do I apply?

One email with three things: something you built, the hardest decision in it, and when you're available. The form on this page pre-fills it for [email protected].

Can an internship lead to a full-time role?

Interns who clear our bar are considered for an offer — the same bar we hire senior engineers against.

05 — Spontaneous application

One email. Three things in it.

Skip the cover letter template. Answer exactly these three — it takes twenty minutes if you've actually built something. Sending opens your mail app with the answers pre-filled for [email protected].

We reply within a week, yes or no.
